About us

We are an independent, dedicated mobile veterinary practice based in South Yorkshire. Our professional home visit service is a stress-free alternative to transporting your pet and means they will be seen in a safe and familiar environment.

If you book a Travelling Vet home visit, your pet will be treated by an experienced vet and nurse. Charlotte and Kate provide caring, unrushed, personalised care for pets across Sheffield, Dronfield and Worksop.

We'd love to hear from you whether it's for advice, further information or just for a chat! We try to respond quickly to all messages, but may take up to 24 hours to get back to you. Alternatively, you can call us on 0114 212 5800.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Service Update

In order to keep our clients and staff safe, for the time being we have made some changes to the way that we work. We are examining pets outside your home in a garden where this possible. We are also carrying out phone consultations for some conditions and can dispense medication if needed.

We are now taking bookings for any vaccinations that are about to lapse, or for any unvaccinated animals.

We can enter your home for emergency consultations, and our staff are equipped with personal protective equipment to use when needed. We will discuss any problems your pet might have via phonecall or outside in order to minimise the time we spend inside your home. Please inform a member of staff prior to the visit if you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last four weeks. Please also let us know if you or another member of your household are experiencing a high temperature, a continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

Please give us a ring or contact us via the adjacent form if there is anything you would like to discuss or to request an appointment. We have temporarily suspended online bookings until government advice changes.

message us - we'd love to hear from you

Whether we have cared for your pet before or not, we will make sure that when the time comes your pet is treated with the dignity and respect that they deserve.

This is the hardest decision that you will ever make for your companion and we will be there with you every step of the way. We carry out euthanasia in your home or garden so that your pet will be in a familiar and comfortable place. Your pet will be attended by a veterinary surgeon and veterinary nurse.

We ensure the procedure is carried out in a controlled and calm manner. Sedatives can be given prior to this to calm an anxious pet and we recommend this for animals who are in pain or distressed.
